Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are still ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ going ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ strong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and apparently (a) Kim’s best friends are fully on board and (b) Kim’s family also loves his vibe. A source tells People that Kim’s “friends are excited to see her genuinely happy” and that “everyone around her is just happy she’s happy.”
Meanwhile, another ~insider~ tells Entertainment Tonight that Pete wants the Kardashians to know that his relationship with Kim isn’t “just a fling” and that they’re the real deal:
“Kim and Pete have gotten even closer in the last few weeks. Pete has been going out of his way to connect more with Kim’s family in his own subtle ways. He wants to show them who he really is and have the family get to know him better. He wants the family to know that it’s not just a fling between him and Kim and that it is way deeper than that.”
Apparently, this means getting to know everybody one on one. As the source puts it, “He has been trying to establish his own individual relationship with them.”

Kim and Pete obviously live on opposite coasts, but apparently Pete is looking to be bicoastal in order to spend more time with Kim when he’s not filming Saturday Night Live. A source previously told Entertainment Tonight that he’s “been playing with the idea of getting a place in Los Angeles. He has a ton of friends and work in L.A. Even though New York is home, he has been digging the bicoastal vibe. He is into whatever gives him more time with Kim.”
